Well, with attending an out-of-town memorial service this past weekend followed by 2 straight days of work, not a lot of stitching or posting was going to get done. Now, however, I have a few days off, so an update is in order (and it was the full moon a couple days ago, so a WIPocalypse post is due.)
With the Crazy January Challenge, a lot of my older WIPs have had limited play on the Q-snaps. I did start taking my Ariel square to work for the few minutes here and there that I have to work on it. Here is the progress up to now:
As for the CJSC, I had to switch things up a bit due to the unexpected addition of a couple new stash items:
My LNS (Acorns and Threads in Portland) offered a coupon book last year and January's coupon was good for 20% off a complete Christmas project. I went in for just one thing, but couldn't resist 20% off Shepherd's Bush kits and a couple of the other things.
So, here are the starts for the past few days:
Day 9: LHN "Home of a Needleworker"
Day 10: Lizzie Kate "Merry Bird"
Day 11: BBD "Crowning the Tree"
Day 12: Lizzie Kate "Spring Fab Fob"
I'm really excited about the last three because they will all be quick finishes. Now I just have to decide what will be the last three starts of this challenge. Those new Shepherd's Bush designs are calling out to me....

Great job on the WIPocalypse and CJSC Sondra. Love BBDs Crowning the Tree (and who could ever resist a 20% off Shepherds Bush sale?). ;)
lovely stitching
I have spent a little time checking out all of your recent stitching--all wonderful!!
Great job on the WiP and I love your blog. That cat staring at me is a hoot.
I love the projects you'e chosen for the CJC, and your new stash looks divine.
Hi Sonda, I'm a new follower of your blog. I wish I had a lot more Qsnaps too, so I wouldn't have to keep moving them around to other projects. Your stitching choices are wonderful! I look forward to watching your progress on all your new CJC starts now.
everything looks great...
wow, sure wish our LNS did coupons & specials.....they don't do anything......
Cute projects! Bummer about not getting much stitching done over the weekend. Bleah.
Great stash buying and the WIPs look great. :D
Nice new starts and awesome stash enhancement!
